The Parksville Seniors Sports Group was formed in 1987 to organize Slo-Pitch ball for retirees to the Parksville area. It now administers a spring and summer morning House League for PGOSA with organized play on Mondays and Wednesdays, and a drop-in game on Fridays. More than 100 players are registered with PSAG.

HOUSE LEAGUE SLO-PITCH

2012 SEASON  The Regular Season got underway April 18th with sun, cloud, some wind and a couple of light showers. President Gregg Dawe thanked team Sponsors and recognized the work of the Executive and other members of the House League who volunteer their time to provide Umpiring, Scorekeeping, Rules, Schedules and Equipment care.
A total of 28 games will be played by each team through the end of July. For the full season schedule click here Double knock-out Playoffs will start August 1st with the Final and the wind-up BBQ on the 17th.
There's been a change in Team names with a new sponsor for this season. The Unstoppables jerseys are retired, to be replaced with Chiefs uniforms. Jim's Gym on Industrial Way in Parksville is the Legue's new sponsor, providing green jerseys for the Athletics who initially were to be the Chiefs.
DIRECTORS V-P Marv Pickering is the Sponsorship Director. Martin Debarros is an Assistant to Marv with the particular duty of calling Rainouts. He will also look after Friday Drop-In Ball. Other Directors include: Chuck Blakely as Team Commissioner, Ben Wallberger looks after the Schedule and co-ordinates with Umpires and Scorekeepers, Gord Rowe is Spares Co-ordinator and Massey Matsuda and Ron Neufeld will organize the Closing Barbeque August 17th. Ben also heads the Rules Committee.
