Membership is open to those 55 years of age and older. An associate membership is available for younger spouses.
The annual fee is ten dollars.

GOLF TOURNAMENT
Friday the 25th at the Arrowsmith Golf and Country Club.
The putting contest, for bragging rights and a prize, is at Noon, with the golfing at 1 pm on a scrambled start. Mixed four-somes play in a best-ball format. Dinner of chicken or steak is at about Six.
Golf and Dinner is $60, Golf only is $33.50 and Dinner only is $26.50. |

SOCCER REPORT |
|
Given the miserably wet and unpredictable weather on Thursday, we were probably fortunate to have six players turn up. In the event, the sky cleared as the time for soccer arrived and we had a good practice session under increasingly sunny skies....as promised. Mind you, two of our players took part in rubber boots - true westcoasters - just imagine how good they would be in soccer boots! And our guest from Uclulet demonstrated rare "wet coast" skills - we are now attracting "imports" from other parts of the Island who have heard of our outstanding soccer expertise. That's my story, anyway. Let's hope for better weather and a good turnout next week. David
